■ Check that the head straps and lower straps move easily.
8.2. Insert pre-filter
■ Assemble breathing filter with prefilter and prefilter holder (see chapter
10.2).
8.3. Insert breathing filter and clean half mask
(see Fig. 2.1 and 2.2)
Note!
Before using for the first time, the half mask must be cleaned thoroughly
with the provided cleansing wipes.
■ Insert breathing filter in half mask (see chapter 10.1).
■ Clean mask body and rubber seal thoroughly with the provided cleans-
ing wipes.
9. Normal Operation
9.1. Check expiry date of breathing filter
Note!
Every time before use, check the expiry date of the breathing filters. On
exceeding the expiry date, replace the breathing filters in pairs. Replace
the breathing filters at least every week, regardless of the expiry date.
Replace the prefilters every time after the mask has been used. Comply
with the local statutory regulations. WARNING: The filters (breathing
filter and prefilter) must be replaced immediately on noticing any smell/
taste or noticeably increased breathing resistance.
■ Check expiry date and condition of the breathing filters and replace if
necessary (see chapter 10.1).
■ Check whether the prefilters have been replaced since they were last
used. Replace if this has not been done (see chapter 10.2).
9.2. Check half mask
Note!
Before putting the half mask on, ensure that the inhaling and exhaling
membranes are working properly.
■ Check inhaling and exhaling membranes (see chapter 10.3).
