Battery/inverter cables
Only use the cables provided with your inverter, in case of non-compliance, the product is not covered
by the warranty.
Before any connection, check that the inverter is turned OFF.
Unipower 150.12Q/150.24Q only: connect your inverter to your battery with the cigarette lighter plug.
Unipower 350.12Q/350.24Q only: connect your inverter directly to your battery with the clamp cables :
- connect the black cable to the negative born of the battery (-),
- connect the red cable to the positive born of the battery (+).
For all Unipower (except Unipower 150.12Q/150.24Q and 350.12Q/350.24Q), connect your inverter
directly to the battery with the eyelet cables and with battery terminals (not provided)
- connect the black cable to the negative born of the battery (-)
- connect the red cable to the positive born of the battery (+).
Turn the Unipower ON. The led turns on as soon as the device is on.
Connect the device to supply with the Unipower or via the 230V plug or via the 5V USB port for the
Unipower 150.12Q/150.24Q and 350.12Q/350.24Q (cf. USB connexion part).
After using the inverter:
- disconnect the device that needs to be powered
- turn the switch OFF
- then disconnect the cables of the battery/of the cigarette lighter connexion.
Caution: Firmly tighten the clamps/ the terminals, otherwise there are risks of: no power,
abnormal overheating of the cable, and damages to the supply of the inverter or fire
Caution: The metallic parts may be hot. Avoid to grasp it with the hands or to put
it next to inflammable products.
Use on a start-up battery of a vehicle:
Unipower can be used motor whether its turned on or off.
Caution: While starting the motor, disconnect the Unipower from the cigarette lighter plug.
Grounding:
For safety reasons, do the earthing of you Unipower inverter.
