The numerical code authorizes you to
change settings in the AQA total unit.
Please remember that incorrect
settings can reduce the performance of
the unit. The code should therefore
be stored safely and protected against
unauthorized access.
II. Menue control
Use the – button to go forward
in the menu or the "M" button to go back.
III. Navigate through the menue until the
following text appears:
IV. press the „C" button
V. Use the + button to select which Refill got
replaced (usually all Refills are replaced).
VI. Confirm the Refill change by pressing the
"C" button.
VII. After a moment, the unit switches back to the
operating mode. Display on standby or operati
on goes out.
The reset is executed. The device is fully operable
Follow start-up instructions (after Refill replace-
ment).
3. Commissioning – AQA total
AQA total devices must be started up again after
every single change of a refill or a cartridge. We re-
commend the refill-upgrade (changeover from the
cartridge to the refill system) or the refill change as
well as the start up to be executed by our professi-
onal after-sales service.
Please stick to the following sequences!
AQA total 1500 – 14000
1. Check installation of refill and/or cartridge.
2. Check fit of the plug.
3. Open water supply. Pressurize the device
by opening the check valve gently.
4. Check leak tightness.
5. Open check valve after the device.
6. Flushing: wash out any abrasion caused by
transport by opening the flushing valve or
another tapping point. The flushing valve
must be kept open until the water runs clear
(min. 3 minutes). Then shut-off the flushing
valve.
Note (for devices with LED-control)
If the red LED "service" will not disappear after
commissioning or if the green LED "operation" will
not light up during water consumption, please con-
trol all plug-in connections or call your BWT service
technician.
Qualified staff:
The product may only be installed, commissioned
and serviced by skilled personnel. Only trained per-
sons are allowed to operate and use it.
Trained person:
Has received instruction and studied the informati-
on in this document concerning the tasks entrusted
to him/her, and the possible risks in the event of
inappropriate behaviour.
Skilled personnel:
Based on the professional training received, know-
ledge and experience, and knowledge of the rele-
vant definitions, is qualified to install the product,
to commission and to service it.
