ambiguities or comprehension problems, please contact our support.
Even with maximum care in the design and processing of the device and
taking into account all safetyrelevant facts, residual dangers may still
exist, in particular:
Risk of losing the device if it is carried incorrectly. Store the device
in the Barryvox carrying system or a clothing bag provided for this
purpose. Fasten the device using the fastening loop.
Risk of explosion due to incorrectly used or damaged batteries. Risk
of incorrect capacity display due to incorrectly used batteries. Only
use batteries of the type «Alkaline (AAA) LR03 1.5 V». Do not use
damaged batteries.
Risk of malfunction due to leaking batteries. Remove the batteries if
the device is not used for a longer period of time. Leaking batteries or
battery acid can damage the electronics and cause parts to corrode.
Risk of malfunction or damage due to extreme temperature. Do not
expose the device to extreme temperatures. Store the device so that
it is protected from direct sunlight. Extreme temperatures can impair
functionality or damage the battery.
Risk of malfunction due to electronic devices (e.g. cell phones, radios,
headlamps, cameras), metal parts (e.g. pocket knives, magnetic
buttons) or another search device in the immediate vicinity. Keep the
recommended minimum distance (20 cm in SEND mode, 50 cm in
SEARCH mode).
Risk of malfunctioning of pacemakers due to proximity to the avalanche
transceiver. Follow the instructions of the corresponding manufacturer.

Disposal Information
At the end of its lifetime, this product may not be
disposed with regular waste.
It must be recycled by a specialized facility for
recycling electronic devices.
