The charger has detected a
problem with the device batter-
ies. They could be damaged
or sulphated. If this is the case,
contact your dealer.
Is lit red Charging circuit defective LED:
The charging circuit has
reversed connections; contact
your dealer.

Plug the charger plug in the connector [10] at the
side of the device.
▸
Check if the voltage applied to the AC outlet volt-
age matches the input voltage of the charger.

Plug the charger plug in a wall socket.
The yellow LED illuminates during
charging. Once the charging process
is completed, the green LED lights up.
A complete charging process can last
up to 12 hours.

After charging, disconnect the charger from the
alternating current source.
▸
Disconnect all connections between the charger
and the Power Start.
Checking the charging state

Only use the device only in a fully charged state

Ensure that the operating switch [3] is set to "0"
and that the device is not connected to the vehicle
battery.

Press the charging state button [7].
The charging state of the device is indicated on

the display [6] in percent.
Attention!
The device displays the "CHARGE" message, to

indicate that the charging state is 40% or less.
Do not use the device if the "CHARGE"
message is displayed and charge the device
immediately.

Do not use the device, for as long as the display
indicates less than 80%.
Upon switching on the operating switch
[3], the voltage of the internal battery is
shown in volt.
