6. Mount the stage: lower the support using the coarse focus
knob, then place the stage and tighten the lock screw ①.

7. Screw each objective into the thread of the nosepiece, clock-
wise with increasing magnification. (Fig. 6)
8. Insert the power supply jack in the socket placed in the rear
side of the of the microscope: 6V for transmitted light and
12V for fluorescence. (Fig. 7-8)
