Hotplate burner
5.2.4.1
Switching on the hotplate burner.
Pilot ignition:
o
Lift the hotplate guide ring using the hook provided.
Turn control M anticlockwise to the position Pilot

Then press the oven pilot piezoelectric igniter several times until the flame of the pilot light is
stable.
o
If the pilot light does not light up, it is possible to manually light it using a flame.
Burner ignition:
o
To ignite the burners, press and rotate control M anticlockwise to the required position.

Press and turn the M control to the position Pilot

Useful tips

Read the useful tips listed below carefully in order to get the most out of your cooker.
5.3.1
Initial cleaning
The cooker should be cleaned after installation.
Before using the oven for the first time, it is advisable to clean the inside with a cloth soaked in soapy water
to prevent bad smells during use.
5.3.2
Maintenance
FAGOR INDUSTRIAL recommends a service of all the operating components of the cooker at least once
a year to check their condition and the correct operation of the appliance. This service must be carried out
by an OFFICIAL AND/OR AUTHORISED TECHNICAL SERVICE.
The replacement of any functional component that may affect the safety of either the appliance or the user
should be performed by an OFFICIAL AND/OR AUTHORISED TECHNICAL SERVICE, using the
appropriate original spare parts.
Always clean the machine correctly to prolong the service life of the machine.
Remove any waste from the worktop and the oven at the end of each day. To do so, use any of
the specific degreasing products available on the market. Next dry the surfaces you have
cleaned.
Do not use abrasive, corrosive or acid products, chlorine-based detergents, solvents or petrol
derivatives to clean the machine.
Do not use pressurised water to clean the machine.
The hotplate, base, grilles, burner body and diffusers should be cleaned regularly with an
appropriate degreasing agent.
Check that the holes on the diffusers and the inter-ignition groove on the burner bodies are not
blocked.
Take care not to allow any dirt to enter inside the burners as this could result in their poor
operation.
Clean the pilot lights regularly to prevent them from becoming blocked.
5.3.3
Prolonged periods of no use
If the machine is kept out of service for a long period of time (holidays, temporary closure, ...), please
observe the following:
Close the gas supply.
Clean the machine and the adjacent areas thoroughly.
Sprinkle a thin layer of edible oil on the stainless steel surfaces.
Leave the doors open.
