Warning: always make sure that the scooter is switched off
before folding it. The hook on the stem is part of the folding
system and must not be used as a luggage rack.
Any load attached to the handlebars will affect the stability of the
electric scooter.
Your scooter can be folded. The manufacturer's default settings allow
the stem to be unfolded and locked without any movement. It is
necessary to check the folding system every 3 to 6 months.

Braking

The Kickway L1 scooter has a disc brake at the rear, which gives it
effective braking but must be well controlled. So, pay attention to the
following points:
To slow down, simply release the accelerator.
When braking, do not press the brake lever too hard. Sudden
braking can lead to a loss of balance and falling; gradually press
on the brake lever to slow down safely.
Do not tighten your brake cable more than necessary at the brake
caliper. The rear wheel must not lock during emergency braking
and cause a fall.
Before each use, check that the brake is in perfect working order.
The brake lever should not be in contact with the handlebars, and
the sheath should not be bent at right angles so that the cable
can slide with a minimum of friction. Damaged, frayed or rusty
cables must be replaced immediately.
The rear light is also the brake light. When the lights are active,
the tail light flashes rapidly when the brake lever is operated to
warn nearby vehicles and pedestrians.
