VOLUME CONTROL
The user can directly adjust and control the broadcasting power amplifier volume by pressing the buttons on
the front panel of the ZS-2000M.
The volume can only be set by using the Automatic Volume Control (AVC) function. The ZS-2000M can
automatically detect and adjust the zone broadcasting volume according to the configuration parameters.
When the system is working in voice alarm mode, the volume is fixed to maximum level, and manual setting
is unavailable until the system recovers public address mode.
POWER AMPLIFIER MANAGEMENT
The ZS-2000M can automatically detect the operating states of the power amplifier. Switching between the
main and backup power amplifiers is achieved based on the number of power amplifiers connected to the
system and recognized by the system software, described below in detail by the following:
-
Configuring the number of power amplifiers
The software can be used specify the number of connected power amplifiers according to their type.
The default number of connected power amplifiers is two.
-
Switching between the main and standby power amplifiers
- An audio matrix is used for ZS-2000M zone control so that any power amplifier can be defined
as a standby power amplifier for another power amplifier through the software. When the ZS-
2000M detects a main power amplifier signal fault, the ZS-2000M automatically switches to the
standby power amplifier.
- The switching sequence is controlled according to the power amplifier priority level. If two or
more power amplifiers share the same priority level, the ZS-2000M switches to a random power
amplifier of that priority level.
- A maximum of three main power amplifiers and one standby power amplifier can be configured.
ZONE CONTROL
The power amplifier zone control mode is configured through the software to be either the power matrix
mode or direct drive mode.
For the power matrix mode, the power amplifier and loudspeaker zones constitute the power switch matrix,
as well as determines the matrix size according to the actual number of power amplifiers and zones. Any
sound source can be selected for any zone using the matrix.
For the direct drive mode, one fixed channel power amplifier drives one or several zones, in this way
improving the output power of the zones being driven. Zones of the same power amplifier broadcast the
same sound.
VOICE INFORMATION MANAGEMENT
Build-in 1GB nonvolatile memory: 500MB (The maximum storage time is 96 minutes.)can store audio files and
350MB (The maximum storage time is 67 minutes.)used for recording
Sound files can be broadcasted separately, and can be prioritized in a file playlist.
One of the audio files can be configured as a pre-signal and be played before any regular broadcasting
operations.
Voice information broadcasting modes include the broadcast times priority levels and time delay can be set
in the definition of broadcast operations tasks
EMERGENCY VOICE ALARM FUNCTION
The ZS-2000M can be linked with the fire alarm system through dry contacts, RS-485 cables, or through the
Ethernet network. When the system is configured to be linked with a fire alarm through the configuration
software, the fire alarm controller can send fire control signals to ZS-2000M through the Ethernet network.
When the ZS-2000M receives fire broadcasting initiation signals, the ZS-2000M immediately interrupts all
non-emergency broadcasting functions and enters the emergency voice alarm state. The ZS-2000M can
automatically trigger alarms for areas with emergencies according to the initial fire alarm controller signals.
The system can also configure emergency broadcasting evacuation schemes through the software and
facilitate personnel evacuation through voice prompts.
