6- TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBABLE CAUSE
Shortage of water in the inlet circuit
Blocked valves
The outlet line is closed and does not
allow the air in the head to come out
Pump is sucking air
The Inlet plumbing is incorrectly sized
Jammed or worn valves
Worn high pressure seals
Malfunctioning of the pressure regula-
tor
Problems with driving
The number of revolutions is higher
than the value indicated on the label
Air intake
Malfunctioning of the pressure regula-
tor
The pressure regulator by-pass line is
undersized or throttled.
Jammed valves
The Inlet plumbing is incorrectly sized
Malfunctioning or not correctly adjust-
ed pressure regulator
Nozzle of wrong size or worn
Worn plunger seals
Worn check valves
The number of revolutions is lower than
the value indicated on the label
Excessive temperature of water
The working pressure is higher than the
one indicated in the label
The number of revolutions is higher
than the value indicated on the label
Excessive stretching of the belts
Oil not at the correct level, contaminat-
ed or exhausted
Worn bearings
Worn Packings
Worn plunger 0-Ring retainer
Worn plunger oil seal
CURES
Check the circuit and water level in the
tank.
Check and replace if necessary.
Drain the outlet line until the water regu-
larly comes out
Check suction circuit and possible air
ingress
Check the correct size of the suction cir-
cuit.
Check the filter cleaning
Check and, if necessary, replace
Check alignment, gaps and settings.
Restore the proper number of revolu-
tions
Check the suction circuit and possible
air ingress

Check the correct sizes and remove
throttlings
