Do not use this machine at night, in fog, or in low
visibility that prevents you from seeing the work area
clearly.
When the work must be carried out simultaneously by
two or more people, always check the presence and
location of the others in order to maintain a sufficient
distance between each person to ensure safety.
Keep the work area clean and work in good lighting.
Cluttered and dark areas cause accidents.
Inspect the work area and remove all stones, wood,
wire, and foreign objects that could be thrown by the
cutting tool.
2.4. ELECTRICAL SECURITY
Use only Keeper 40V Garland batteries for this
machine. Use only the Keeper Garland charger to
charge batteries. Using a different battery or charger
may cause battery explosion and risk of fire.
Be sure to connect the charger to a 230 V and 50 Hz
DC power source.
The electrical plug of the charger of this machine
must match the base of the socket.
Never modify the plug in any way. Unmodified plugs
and matching bases will reduce the risk of electric
shock.
When using the battery charger, avoid body contact
with grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators,
electric ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased
risk of electric shock if your body is grounded.
Do not expose this machine, charger or
battery to rain or wet conditions. The water
that enters them will increase the risk of electric
shock.
Do not abuse the cable. Do not use the cable to carry,
lift or unplug the charger. Keep the cable away from
heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or
tangled cables increase the risk of electric shock.
Never use this charger with the damaged cord or plug.
Before connecting the charger, check the plug and
cable for damage. If you discover any damage send
your machine to a technical service for repair. If the
cable is damaged or broken, unplug it immediately.
Damaged or tangled cables increase the risk of
electric shock.
The replacement of the plug or power cord should
always be done by the manufacturer or its technical
assistance service. It is recommended to connect this
charger to a residual differential device whose tripping
current is less than or equal to 30mA.
Never use a damaged connection base,
which does not comply with the regulations or the
requirements for this charger.
Disconnect the charger from the mains when it is not
in use to prevent damage in case of network overload.
Charge the battery only with the Keeper Garland
charger, in a dry place with a temperature between
0ºC and 40ºC.
Do not attempt to tamper with or open the battery and
/ or charger.
Do not short-circuit the battery and be careful when
handling it so as not to accidentally short-circuit it with
conductive elements such as rings, bracelets, keys,
etc. When the battery is short-circuited it increases in
temperature and may explode or burn.
