Electrical connections
Lift the front panel up to the top of the unit; in this way
the front panel will be separated from the unit.
• Remove the plastic cover of the terminal board.
• Make the electrical connections to the terminal board
as per the wiring diagram (see outdoor unit Manual).

For a good operation of the air conditioner it is recommended to carry out checks and maintenance as indicated.
Recommended maintenance intervals may vary depending on the installation environment, e.g. dusty zones, etc.
(1) Increase frequency in dusty zones. (2) Operations to be carried out by qualified service personnel.
Correct cleaning
• Turn the unit off and switch the mains supply off.
Use only a clean, damp and soapy cloth. Do not
pour any liquids on the unit (See fig. 16). Do not use
flammable liquids, solvents or abrasive powders.
Keep heat sources away from the unit and do not place
anything hot on it; panels may be damaged. The remote
control should only be cleaned with a dry cloth.
Occasionally clean the area around the outdoor (leaves
etc.) to avoid reduced air circulation.
Filter cleaning
Clean filters in accordance with the actual operating
conditions and times. Lift the front panel and pull the air
filters downward (See fig. 17).

• When the electrical connections are completed, refit
the terminal board cover and fix the cables with the
special cable holders (See fig. 13).
• Fix the front panel to the latch of the frame grille.

• Install the batteries in the remote control and position it
in the bracket n (See fig. 15).
Change controller batteries
Outdoor unit (2): Clean outdoor coil from inside;
Blow air over electric parts; Check electric connection tightening;
Clean fan wheel; Check fan tightening; Clean drain pan

Put the filters back in the correct position.
Cleaning of photocatalytic filters
• Clean photocatalytic filters by washing them under
running water (without any detergent) and regenerate
them by exposing them to sunlight for 6 hours
(See fig. 19).
• Replace active carbon and photocatalytic filters every
two years.
• Replace electrostatic filters every three months.
Washing the front panel
Lift the front panel up to the top of the unit (See fig. 20).
Then separate the front panel from the unit.
Rinse the panel under running water, and dry it
completely in a shaded area (See fig. 20).
