1. Make a FoodSaver Bag
®
1. Open Appliance Lid (P) and place roll into
Roll Storage.
2. Lift up Roll Cutter Bar (O) and place bag material
beneath the Cutter Bar. Pull out enough bag
material to hold item being vacuumed sealed, plus
3 inches (7.62 centimeters). Lower the Roll Cutter
Bar and slide Bag Cutter (N) across Cutter Bar.
3. Move Easy Lock Latch (E) to the Open position.
Open Appliance Lid (P). Insert one end of bag
material across Sealing Strip (L).
4. Close lid (P) and turn Easy Lock Latch (E) to
Operate position.
5. Press Seal button (B).
6. When Seal Indicator Light turns off, sealing is
complete. Turn latch (E) to Open position, lift lid
and remove bag.
Now you are ready to vacuum seal with your
new bag (see next page).

Place Roll into Roll Holder
Place Bag on Sealing Strip
Close and turn Easy Lock Latch to Operate position
Press Seal Button
2. Vacuum Seal a FoodSaver
®
1. Place item(s) in bag, allowing at least 3 inches
(7.62 cm) of space between bag contents and top
of bag.
2. Open Appliance Lid (P) and place open end of bag
into Vacuum Channel (Drip Tray).
3. Close lid (P) and turn Easy Lock Latch (E) to
Operate position.
4. Press Vacuum & Seal Button (C) to begin vacuum
and sealing process. Motor will continue to run until
bag is fully vacuumed, then will automatically seal.
5. When Seal Indicator Light turns off, turn Latch
(E) to Open position, lift lid and remove bag.
Refrigerate, freeze or store as needed. (See
"Guidelines" for food storage safety tips on pg 13.)
NOTE: Let appliance cool down for 20 seconds after
each use. Always store appliance with the Easy Lock
Latch (E) in the center Store position.
Important Tips:
To minimize waste do not insert too much.
Only insert bag over the edge of the
removable drip tray.
