Unless different instructions have been expressly
given in the operating instructions for the devices
you are charging, proceed as follows:
• Without connecting it to the socket, determine the
mechanical compatibility between the car power
supply unit's adapter and the connection socket
on the device.
• Set the voltage selector switch to the voltage
required by your terminal device.
• Plug the car power supply unit into the socket
provided for it.
• The terminal device can now be used and
switched on.
The product has replaceable fuse. Always replace
this fuse with the same type of fuse with the same
electrical values (see Fig. 3).
Note on connection to possible devices
• Before connecting a device, check that this
can be
supplied sufficiently with the power supply
unit's current output.
• Check whether the device intended for
mains operation is compatible with the pin
assignment of the universal power supply unit.
If necessary, ask the dealer who supplied your
terminal device or contact your terminal device
manufacturer's support service.
Note - car battery
With some vehicles, it can happen that power
continues to be supplied even though the ignition
has been switched off. You should therefore
disconnect the product from the line connection
when not in use to protect your car battery from
being drained.
5. Care and maintenance
• Only use soft, dry towels to clean the product.
