surface of the foundation plate, specially on the reference
marks.
• Position the sliding securing plate in connection with the
reference marks, perfectly parallel to the sliding gate and
at a correct distance from the gate (Fig.13).
• Weld ONLY on the shorter sides of the sliding plate
(Fig.13).
ATTENTION - Protect the welds and the projecting part of the
foundation plate with Zinc spray or rust inhibitor paint.
4.2

Fixing the sliding plate with screw anchors

• Position the sliding plate, perfectly parallel to the sliding
gate and at a correct distance from the rack (Fig.14).
• Fix the sliding plate with compact building screw anchors
(or with chemical screw anchors) using all four fi xing
holes (Part.A). Make sure the plate is integral with the
ground.
4.3 Positioning and fi xing the gearmotor
• Fit the gearmotor in the sliding securing plate
Make sure that the operator is perfectly parallel to the
sliding gate and at a correct distance from the resting
surface of the rack (Fig.9).
• Secure the gearmotor to the plate with the relevant securing
screws (Fig.15-b Ref.1): unscrew but not excessively the
screws so that they tighten knocking against the plate.
Push the gearmotor against the plate on the opposite
side of where the securing screws are, in order to have
a correct securing.
WARNING - If you have diffi culties to access with the
screw securing key, it is possible to move the screws in
two additional threaded holes that are available on the
opposite side under the gearmotor (Fig.15-b Ref.2) (

• Close the plastic cover temporarily to protect the inner
parts while the rack is being fi tted.
Caution
Do NOT handle the gearmotor by
grasping it by the plastic cover.
