Initial Operation of the Printing System


Mount the print mechanics.

Connect all cables between print mechanics and control unit and protect the cables against unintentional unscrewing.

Connect the control unit and PC by printer interface.

Connect the control unit and packaging machine by inputs and outputs.

Connect the power cable of control unit.

After all connections are completed, switch on the control unit.

Insert label material and transfer ribbon.

Start measuring in menu Label layout/Measure label.
NOTICE!
To enable correct measuring, at least two completed labels have to be passed through (not for continuous labels).
During measuring the label and gap length small differences can occur. Therefore the values can be set manually in menu
