Switching on – press the switch button (1) and hold in this position.
Switching off – release pressure on the switch button (1).
Locking the switch (continuous operation)
Switching on:
• Press the switch button (1) and hold in this position.
• Press the switch lock button (2) (fig. C).
• Release pressure on the switch button (1).
Switching off:
• Press and release the switch button (1).
GEAR SWITCH
Range of spindles rotational speed can be changed with the two-
position gear switch (5) (fig. D). Set the switch in appropriate position
depending on the type of mixed material.
• Position '1' is for lower rotational speed of paddles and greater
torque (designed for mixing viscous substances, such as adhesive
mortars, cement, plasters etc.).
• After switching to the right, to position '2', the speed is greater and
the torque is lower.
• To restore lower speed, position the switch back to the left position
(used for mixing liquids).
Never change the gear switch position during operation of
the mixer. It may damage the mixer. Rotate the paddles slightly if
the gear switch position cannot be changed.
ROTATIONAL SPEED CONTROL
Wheel for speed control of the spindles (8) is located on the mixer
handle (4) (fig. E). Speed control range is 1 to 5. You can change spindle
rotational speed on specific gears. Turn the wheel for spindle speed
control (8) towards greater values to increase rotational speed, turn the
wheel towards lower values to reduce rotational speed.
Correct speed should be selected with the mixer working and
paddles immersed in the material that is planned to be mixed.
Speed set without load may turn out to be too small during
operation.
PRIOR TO OPERATION
• Make sure the power supply voltage is 230 V AC.
• Connect the power tool to the power supply network.
• During operation, always hold the mixer firmly with both hands by
two handles (4).
• Set the gear switch and speed adjustment wheel in desired positions.
• Electronic controller allows for slow start of the mixing (splash-free)
and slow stop.
• By turning the speed control wheel (8) you can increase or reduce
rotational speed of the spindles.
• Switch on the mixer and start working.

OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE

Unplug the power cord from mains socket before
commencing any activities related to installation, adjustment,
repair or maintenance.
• Always keep the mixer clean (carefully check the fixing sleeves and
holders are clean).
• Each time after operation clean paddles with water or quartz sand.
• Do not use water or any other liquid for cleaning the mixer. Use soft
cloth.
• Clean ventilation holes regularly to prevent motor overheating.
• In case of excessive commutator sparking check technical condition
of carbon brushes of the motor.
• Check condition of carbon brushes every 75 hours of operation.
• Check technical condition of the power cord on a regular basis and
replace it immediately, when any damage is found.
• Store the mixer in a dry place, beyond reach of children.
• Any maintenance or repairs should be carried out by an authorised
service workshop.
REPLACEMENT OF CARBON BRUSHES
Immediately replace worn out (shorter than 5 mm), burnt or
cracked motor carbon brushes. Always replace both carbon
brushes at a time.
• Unscrew the carbon brush covers (3) (fig. F).
• Remove worn out carbon brushes.
• Remove any carbon dust with compressed air.
• Insert new carbon brushes (fig. G) (brushes should easily move into
brush-holders).
• Install carbon brush covers (3).
After replacement of carbon brushes start the mixer without load
and wait until carbon brushes fit to the motor commutator and take
optimal shape Entrust replacement of carbon brushes only to a
qualified person. Use only original parts.
All defects should be repaired by service workshop authorised by the
manufacturer.

NOISE LEVEL AND VIBRATION PARAMETERS
Sound pressure

Vibration acceleration
Noise and vibration information
Noise produced by the device is defined with: level of produced sound
pressure LpA and level of sound power LwA (where K is measurement
uncertainty). Vibrations produced by the device are defined with
vibration acceleration value ah (where K is measurement uncertainty).
Sound pressure LpA, sound power LwA and vibration acceleration ah
specified in this manual have been measured in accordance with EN
62841-1. Specified vibration level ah can be used to compare tools and
for initial evaluation of exposition to vibrations.
Specified vibration level is representative for main applications of the
device. When the device is used for other purposes or with different
working tools, the vibration level may change. Insufficient or too rare
maintenance may increase vibration level. The abovementioned factors
may lead to higher exposure to vibrations during whole working time.
To precisely define exposure to vibrations, include periods when the
device is switched off and when it is switched on but not used for
working. Once all factors have been carefully considered, total
exposition to vibrations may be significantly lower.
To protect the user from results of exposure to vibrations, use additional
safety measures such as: device and working tool periodic maintenance,
proper hand temperature conditions, good work organisation.
