BATTERY INSERTION/REPLACEMENT

In case of battery insertion/replacement, proceed as follows:
1 .Remove the cover (1) .
2 .Remove the run-down batteries and insert the new ones (2),
make sure that they are positioned according to the diagram in-
side the housing .
3 .Reposition the cover (3) .
Note: Remove the batteries of the remote control when the air
conditioner is not used for long periods, and store out of the
reach of children .
Dispose of the old batteries in specific collection points to pro-
tect the environment and the health of other persons .

TURNING ON THE AIR CONDITIONER

Press the ON/OFF button to turn the air conditioner on (Fig . 2) .
The air conditioner green light will turn on, indicating that ope-
ration has started . Please note that the liquid crystal display
will always show the last operating mode and the functions
previously used . Follow the instructions to change the system
operating mode .

OPERATION MODE

Press this button (MODE) (fig.3) is selected in a sequence as
the following figure (4) indicates
1 . AUTOMATIC MODE
When the automatic programme AUTO is selected, the unit may
operate in COOLING or HEATING mode depending
on the temperature difference in place between the ambient
temperature and the temperature selected on the remote
control . It is possible to increase or reduce the desired tempe-
rature between 17°C and 30°C . The display shows the selected
temperature .
2 . COOLING MODE
To set the cooling mode COOL, proceed as follows:
• select COOL mode by pressing the MODE key (1);
• adjust the desired temperature by pressing the TEMP keys (2) .
The display shows values from 17 °C to 30 °C;
3 . DEHUMIDIFICATION MODE
To set the dehumidification mode DRY, proceed as follows:
• select the dehumidification programme by pressing the MODE
key (1);
• adjust the desired temperature by pressing the TEMP keys (2) .
The display shows values from 17 °C to 30 °C;
4 . HEATING MODE
To set the heating mode HEAT, proceed as follows:
• Select the heating programme by pressing the MODE key (1);
• Adjust the desired temperature by pressing the TEMP keys (2) .
The display shows values from 17 °C to 30 °C;
5 . FAN MODE
To set the fan mode FAN, proceed as follows:
• Select the fan mode by pressing the MODE key (1);
• Adjust fan speed by pressing FAN SPEED key (3), choosing
between AUTO and other speeds HIGH-MED-LOW;
