Indications for optimal use of the air conditioner
Prefer shaded parking areas

Keep the doors and windows closed
•

Use the vehicle's air conditioner (with the engine running) to cool the cab
If the vehicle does not have an air conditioning system, ventilate the cab well before using the STR air

conditioner
•
If possible darken the glass surfaces
Reduce the power consumption of other products in order to guarantee a longer duration of operation of

the air conditioner
•
Do not allow any heat sources to be on in the vehicle
Select an appropriate setpoint temperature and operating mode

Make sure that the exhaust vents (no.6 figure 2) and the suction grille (no.7 figure 2) are not blocked
•

During operation, remember to always keep the air vents (no.6 figure 2) open. If the vents are closed or
partially blocked, there is a risk of freezing the system.
To obtain the maximum cooling capacity, orient the exhaust vents in the opposite direction to the intake
•
grille (towards the rear of the vehicle)
The air conditioner can be painted to suit the colour of your vehicle. Paint only the top cover of the air
•
conditioner (no.2 figure 1); if possible, use light colours. Contact authorised workshops.

It is advisable to disconnect the power supply (magnetothermic) during long periods of inactivity (for
example during the winter).
