Operation
Adjusting the cutting height (Fig. M )
Risk of injuries due to the rotating mower
blade.
¾ Only adjust the lawnmower with the
motor switched off and the mower blade
at a standstill.
Switch the motor off.

SAFETY ROUTINE
¾ Switch the motor off.
¾ Open the cover O 1 .
¾ Turn the safety key clockwise until it reaches
position "0" P 2 .
¾ Use the power pack release device O 5 .
¾ Put the power pack into position 1 O 3 for
storage and transport.
¾ Close the cover P 3 .
Pull the lever out slightly M 1 .

Set the desired cutting height M 2 .
Î
Release the lever again M 3 .
Î
Note (cutting height – grass condition)
Where possible, to protect the turf of the
lawn, mow the grass when it is thoroughly
dry.
Set a cutting height of 45 mm (1 3/4")
When cutting damp or long grass mow with
a higher cutting height.
Switching the lawn mower on/off (Fig. Q R )
Risk of injuries due to the rotating mower
blade.
¾ Do not switch the lawnmower on if you
are standing in front of the grass ejector
opening!
¾ Switch on the lawnmower on a level
surface.
Attention !
¾ Do not switch the lawnmower on in long grass -
if necessary raise it slightly, as shown in Q .

Î Insert the power pack.
Press and hold the button R 1 .

Pull the operator presence control R 2 in.

Activating the cut/collect function

¾ Only adjust the lawnmower with the
motor switched off and the mower blade
at a standstill.
The lawnmower is equipped with a
changeover switch (cut-collect/mulch). .
Use this switch to choose between the
functions cut-collect and mulching for
your lawn care.
Switch the motor off.
