ASSEMBLY INSTALLATIONS
1 Unpack and inspect reel for any damage. Turn the reel by hand to check whether the reel is
operating smoothly or not.
2 The Static Discharge cable reel base must be mounted to a grounded bare metal mounting surface.
Check that the cable has continuity to ground before using.
This must be confirmed before using so that the unit will perform its intended function.
Not following the above could result in property damage or personal injury.
3 If user wants to install the reel higher than the normal height, disassemble the Cable stopper
and adjust to the height.
4 If user wants to disassemble the Cable stopper, the ratchet device should be fixed. If not
the reel can be damaged because the Cable can be retracted by spring tension.
5 If the reel is installed to the ceiling or the wall, install a secondary safety cable
to prevent an accident.

Floor Mounting
When the reel is mounted to the floor it should
be mounted correctly.
If the cable is taken out when the reel is not
mounted correctly, the reel can fall down and become damaged.
Wall Mounting
When the reel is mounted to the wall it should
be mounted correctly.
If the cable is taken out when the reel is not mounted correctly, the reel
can fall down and become damaged. The user can also be injured.
Ceiling Mounting
When the reel is mounted to the ceiling it should
be mounted correctly.
If the cable is taken out when the reel is not mounted correctly, the reel
can fall down and become damaged. The user can also be injured.
