Start-up
Check:
all protective features
the engine-oil level (see the engine handbook)
the fuel level
tyre pressure
the side coverings, accessory equipment, the

Note
the factory – please check the oil, if required
Use unleaded petrol.
Fill fuel tank up to max. 2 cm below the lower
edge of the inlet nozzle.
Seal the fuel tank tightly.
Check the oil level. The oil level must be between
the "Full/Max." and "Add/Min." mark (see also
engine manual).

Check tyre pressure
Check the tyre pressure on all wheels and correct
it where necessary (for max. tyre pressure, see
tyre wall).

Note
Depending on the design, the device may
have an adjustable seat with a built-in pres-
ence sensor and a retractable seat strap.
Sit on the driver's seat.
Press the adjustment lever to the left and keep it
held

Bring the seat to the desired position

When releasing the adjustment lever, make
sure the seat latches in correctly.
Move the armrests upwards
Turn the adjusting segment into the required posi-
tion
:
- 0 = Lowest position
- 3 = Highest position
Move the armrests downwards.
The adjustment mechanism for the weight-depend-
ent seat suspension allows for adjustment to the
driver's weight of between 56–125 kg.
Increasing the seat hardness / carrying
capacity
Turn the rotary knob in a clockwise direction until
the required seat hardness has been reached
Reducing the seat hardness / carrying
capacity
Turn the rotary knob in an anti-clockwise direc-
tion until the required seat hardness has been
reached

Fitting the steering column

Release the clamping lever in an anti-clockwise
direction

Tip the steering column forwards into the required
position

Tighten the clamping lever in a clockwise direc-
tion
to lock the steering column in this position.
