remember that the search coil should be positioned parallel to the substrate, no more
than 5 cm above the ground. Do not use the device in a swinging manner.
Important!
Never test the device on the floor inside a building. Most floors contain metal
structure elements that may cause the device to malfunction or completely mask the
signal.
5. Pass a metal sample to be detected over the device. The metal target is best kept 5-
7 cm above the search coil. When the device detects the sample, it beeps.
Note! If a coin is used for testing, the device will detect it better if it is placed with its
flat side parallel to the device.

OVERLOAD WARNING
If the device detects a large metal object or the soil is highly magnetized and the
search coil is very close, the device will be overloaded. The display will go blank and an
overload message will appear. The device will also emit a special acoustic signal.
Overloading is not harmful to the device but will affect its operation in such
conditions. To prevent this, raise the search coil or change the place of search.
FACTORS AFFECTING DETECTION
1. The angle of the buried target.
2. Target's depth.
3. Target's oxidation level.
4. Target's size.
Indicates that the target is probably a piece of iron or
a nail, screw, bottle cap. Slightly oxidized metal can
be detected, such as a 25 cents coin.
Indicates that the target is probably a 5 cents coin, an
aluminum can, a nickel item or a little gold ring. One
cent, a small zinc or copper coin would also fall into
this category.
Indicates that the target could be a silver 25 cents
coin. Some large aluminum and copper coins may
also fall into this category.
