3. Target Found Indicators - When you find a target in a given category, the
indicator under that category will be illuminated.
4. Battery Charge Indicator - Displays the current battery charge level.
5. Sensitivity / Depth Indicator. The indicator displays the sensitivity of the
device as well as the probable depth of the target.
6. Detection modes: ALL METAL (stand still mode); DISC, NOTCH (motion
mode).
3.3. Device use
3.3.1. SBS-MD-12
Installing battery.
Open the battery compartment by turning the battery cover counterclockwise.
Connect a standard 9V alkaline battery to the battery connector and insert the battery
into the search coil. Close the battery compartment by turning the battery cover
clockwise. Press the cover down as far as it will go to ensure waterproofness.
Turning on
Switching the device on: hold it with the search coil upwards for about three seconds.
The LED will flash. Two short moments of vibration and continuous dim light from the
LED indicate that the device has been turned on.
