And this is how it functions
• Remove the transportation protection:
Twist the red protecting pin which can
be found underneath the scale, and then
pull out.

play, turn it over and put it back in.

• Place the scale on a flat floor. Soft
carpets can distort the results.
• Set the display to zero.
The small whee can be found directly
below the zero.
• Apply your weight evenly to the scale
using both feet. Remain still until the
weight is displayed. The scale is so precise that even the pulse
beat is transferred to the indicator when you
weigh yourself barefoot.

Weigh yourself correctly
In order that your regular weight control will
be meaningful over a longer period of time:
Always weigh yourself at the same time du-
ring the day – e.g. always first thing in the
morning and, of course, without clothes or
shoes.
Which weight ist the correct one?
As there is no "ideal weight" which can be
applied to everyone, it is best to consult
your doctor to find out which is the best
weight range for you.
Warranty
A three-year warranty from date of delivery
applies to defects attributable to poor materi-
als or workmanship. All moveable parts –
batteries, cables, mains units, rechargeable
batteries etc. – are excluded. Defects which
come under warranty will be made good for
the customer at no charge on production of
the receipt. No further claims can be enter-
tained. The costs of transport in both direc-
tions will be borne by the customer should
the equipment be located anywhere other
than the customer's premises. In the event of
transport damage, claims under warranty
can be honoured only if the complete original
packaging was used for any transport and
the scale secured and attached in that pack-
aging just as it was when originally packed.
All the packaging should therefore be
retained.
A claim under warranty will not be honoured
if the equipment is opened by persons not
expressly authorised by seca to do so.
We would ask our customers abroad to con-
tact their local sales agent in the event of a
warranty matter.
Care
In order to maintain the appaerance of the
high-quality leather cover, normal leather
cleaning agents may be used.
Do not use scouring agents on the chrome
or gold surfaces.
The scale ring glass can be cleaned from
the inside when removed.
Just turn the ring to the left and then remo-
ve. Place back in position and turn to the
right.
