PUTTING BATTERY IN/OUT
Set the rotation direction switch (5) in the central position.
Push the battery fixing button (8) and take out the battery (7) (fig. A).
Slide a charged battery (7) into the handle grip until you hear a clicking sound emitted by the battery
fixing button (8).
CHARGING THE BATTERY
The drill/driver is supplied with a partly charged battery. The battery must be charged at ambient
temperature in the range of 4
will reach its full capacity after about 4-5 charging cycles.
Take out the battery (7) from the drill/driver (fig. A).
Connect the charger to a power supply network socket (230 V AC).
Slide the battery (7) into the charger (12) (fig. B).Check if the battery is properly set (inserted all the
way).
After the battery has been placed in the charger, the diodes (11) will illuminate in a different arrangement
(see the description below).
Green diode illuminated - the power supply is switched on.
Green diode illuminated continuously and red diode flashing (1 time per second) - the battery
charging process is ongoing.
Green and red diode illuminated - the battery is fully charged.
Green diode illuminated and red diode flashing (3 times per second) - the battery's temperature is
too high (above 45
o
C) or the battery is defective and must be replaced.
If the battery becomes too hot (above 45
(as indicated by quickly flashing red diode), take the battery out of the charger, wait about 30 minu-
tes, and put it back in the charger. This situation is very unlikely and may never occur.
During charging, the battery becomes very hot. Do not use the battery immediately after charging;
wait until the temperature of the battery drops to room temperature. This will prevent damage to
the battery
BATTERY CHARGING LEVEL INDICATION
The drill/driver is provided with a system that indicates the battery charging level (LED). In order to check
the battery charging level, press the charging level indication button (13) (fig. C). If all diodes are on (14),
the battery charging level is high. If the red and yellow diodes are on, the battery is partly discharged. If only
the red diode is on, the charging level is low and the battery must be charged.
SPINDLE BRAKE
The drill/driver has an electronic brake that stops the spindle immediately after the switch button is
released (9). The brake ensures screw driving and drilling precision as it does not allow for free movement
of the spindle after the tool is switched off.
SWITCHING ON - OFF
Switching on - press the switch button (9).
Switching off - release the switch button (9).
Each time you press the switch button (9), the LED (10) is that illuminates the workpiece is illuminated.
ROTATIONAL SPEED CONTROL
The drilling/driving speed can be controlled during work by increasing or reducing the extent to which
the switch button (9) is pressed in. Speed control enables a slow start which, in the event of drilling holes
