Wireless Safety

Wireless Safety Measures have been put into place for
the Sonova proprietary protocols:
A proprietary network protocol which creates and
manage the devices in the network.
A unique binaural group ID programmed to the
processor and its accessories at fitting time for SBP
which is validated during each transmission.
A unique pairing key established at pairing time for
DM devices which is validated during transmission.
A cyclic redundancy check (CRC) which ensures the
integrity of remote-control and audio data.
A system architecture that isolates the processor's
critical functionality of stimulation parameters from
the wireless functionality.
