strap as well and externally support your child in the baby
carrier carrycot (Figure 12B). Put your right arm, which is
holding the left shoulder strap, into the same shoulder
strap (Figure 12C) and start to rotate the baby carrier. The
baby carrier, attached to the belly strap, will turn with the
harness and will be positioned correctly on the back.
13. To complete the operation, slide the second arm into
the free shoulder strap (Figure 13A), so that the weight
of the baby carrier is discharged evenly over the back
and shoulders. Close the breastbone/scapular buckle L
on the breastbone (Figure 13B) and adjust all belts of
the baby carrier (Figure 13C).
REMOVING THE BABY CARRIER
14. Release the breastbone/scapular buckle (Figure 14A),
remove one of the two shoulder straps and firmly
grasp the shoulder strap still worn with the opposite
hand (Figure 14B); pull the second shoulder strap and
rotate the harness to bring the child in the front position
(Figure 14C). At this point, wear the shoulder straps
again to move back to the initial position.
WARNING: Hold your child safely while carrying out these
procedures.
USING THE HOOD
15. When the child is sleeping or as protection from the
weather (sun, wind, etc.), add the removable hood over
the child's head by attaching it to the baby carrier using
the buttons on the top insert of the baby carrier and on
the shoulder straps (fig. 15-15A).
WARNING: Always ensure that your children have sufficient
space around their face so they can breathe properly.
