4. Service
a) Have your tool repaired only by trained
personnel and/or the authorized service
agent, using only genuine spare parts.
This will ensure that your tool remains safe to

Special safety information
•
Never put the chisel hammer to any use other
than that intended.
•
Be careful with combustible materials. Sparks
may be caused by impact.
•
Keep pneumatic tools safe from children.
•
Always concentrate while you work. Do not
work if you are tired.
•
Use only a quick-release coupling to connect
up the air supply.
•
It is imperative to use a pressure reducer to
set the working pressure.
•
Never use oxygen or combustible gases as
an energy source.
•
Never allow the tool to run unloaded at full
idle speed.
•
Always disconnect the tool from the air supply
before carrying out any repairs or mainte-
nance work.
•
Use only original replacement parts.
•
Wear the necessary protective clothing, parti-
cularly goggles, ear-muffs and safety gloves,
when working with the chisel hammer.

presentation of a valid bill of purchase. Also, refer

the end of the operating instructions.

Open the packaging and take out the equip-
ment with care.

Remove the packaging material and any
packaging and/or transportation braces (if
available).

Check to see if all items are supplied.
•
Inspect the equipment and accessories for
transport damage.

If possible, please keep the packaging until
the end of the guarantee period.

3. Proper use

The chisel hammer is a pneumatic tool for general
use. It can be used, for example, to cut grooves,
to remove tiles or plaster, to knock holes through
walls, to cut metal sheet and plate, and to knock
off bolts and rivets.
The exhaust air leaves the housing to the front.
Please note!
The power of the tool will be reduced if you use
a hose that has too small an inner diameter or
which is too long.
The equipment is to be used only for its prescri-
bed purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a
case of misuse. The user / operator and not the
manufacturer will be liable for any damage or inju-
ries of any kind caused as a result of this.
Please note that our equipment has not been de-
signed for use in commercial, trade or industrial
applications. Our warranty will be voided if the
machine is used in commercial, trade or industrial
businesses or for equivalent purposes.
