Before first use, slightly grease both waffle plates with heat resistant grease
like margarine, for example, using a pastry brush (as the waffle plates are
non-stick coated, greasing is only necessary before the very first use).

The appliance may generate a slight smell when first using it, which is abso-

The first waffle should not be used and should be thrown away.
PREPARING WAFFLES
1.
Place the dough in the middle of the lower waffle plate using a ladle. The
dough will be spread evenly over the waffle plates by closing the lid of the
appliance. Please make sure you use the right quantity of dough. If the
quantity of dough is insufficient, the upper part of the appliance does not
close properly and the upper side of the waffles will not be as brown as the
lower side. If it is too much, the dough will overflow and soil the appliance
and the worktop.
2.
Close the appliance immediately after placing the dough, so that the waffle
will brown evenly on both sides.
3.
A few seconds after placing the dough, the green control lamp turns off. The
appliance will be heated up again and the baking process starts.
4.
The temperature control is adjustable: with a lower level adjustment, the
waffles will be light brown and dark brown with a higher level adjustment.
Any other browning grade desired is continuously adjustable between high-
est and lowest adjustment.
Note concerning the baking signal lights: When both lights are illuminated,
