X. Step Tube
WARNING: Ensure occupant is seated securely in the chair before stepping onto the step
tube. An occupant not seated securely while the step tube is used could fall resulting in
serious injury or death.
How to Install the Step Tube (Fig. 27)
1. Slide the step tube into the rear frame and secure with bolt and nut.

How to Install the Transit Wheels (Fig. 28)
1. Install the transit wheel into the rear frame and secure with bolt and nut.
How to Adjust the Transit Wheel Height (Fig. 28)
1. Remove the bolt and nut from the transit wheel.
2. Slide the transit wheel up or down to the correct height.
3. Secure the desired height by reinstalling the bolt and nut.
