Sorbet Making Tips
Please read the instruction manual carefully and follow the below sorbet making
suggestions for best results.
•
Before freezing fruits, please be sure to remove all fruit peels/skins, cores,
seeds/pits and any other remnants that you do not want in your sorbet. Be
sure to cut the fruits into slim, 3-inch pieces before freezing.
•
Carefully drop food into the Food Chute. The Pusher provided is only for use
if any food obstructs the inside of the Food Chute. Do not over-stuff, shove
or force the food down into the Food Chute.
•
Insert foods slowly, do not over stuff or rush the sorbet making process.
•
Do not put nuts, fruit with pits or ice into the unit.
•
To prevent the fruit from spoiling or getting freezer burn, please place freshly
cut fruit in well sealed freezer bags or tempered containers before placing
fruits in the freezer.
•
Please read the enclosed recipes included with the Platino Plus for other
creative ideas.

NOTE: If the Platino Plus jams/clogs or stops operating, turn it off, and switch to
reverse (REV) for 3-5 seconds. Switch to ON to continue making sorbet. Repeat
this process if necessary. While operating in reverse, the Food Chute may come
loose; this is perfectly normal.
