6.6 Bus protocol

By setting the bus protocol, the type of bus
connection is chosen.
GENIbus is a Grundfos standard protocol for
Grundfos products.
The Modbus protocol is used for communication
between the IO 111 and a control unit from another
supplier.

6.7 SM 111 sensor detection

First time voltage is applied, the SM 111 will check all
inputs to detect which sensors are connected. If a
valid signal is measured, the SM 111 will register that
a sensor is present and save the status.
If the IO 111 indicates a sensor error or configuration
error, the sensor detection must be changed, see
12. Fault finding.
