Getting to know your Mini Cub
Now that you've adopted your own Mini Cub, it's time to get to know him better!
Powering On/Off the first time
The Mini Cub's main power switch is located on his belly which you can
access through the flap beneath in his fur . The switch has three settings:
• Try Me
• Off
• On
Try Me power setting
When you first remove the Mini Cub from his packaging, the switch will be set to Try Me . The
Try Me function is used for demonstrating very basic functions and is not used in normal play .
NOTE: You will only need to use the Try Me setting when you first use him . After that, you
will only need to use the Off and On power settings .
Normal play setting
When you want to play with him and access all his functions, you need to first set the switch
to the Off position, and then wait 3 seconds before setting it to the On position .
IMPORTANT: If you do not wait after switching the Mini Cub to the Off setting, he will
remain in the previous power setting .
Playing with your Mini Cub
Your Mini Cub responds to your touch when you pick
him up and pet his head . . . he might squeal, whimper or
even gurgle! He is equipped with a touch sensor on his
head . He also has a tilt sensor which can tell him when
he's being rolled over side-to-side .
You can feed him using his feeding bottle (see page 3)
— he will close his eyes just like a real baby animal .
Leave him alone for 4 minutes and he will begin to
snore and go into Sleep Mode (refer to Sleep Mode on
page 6 for details) .
