once to review the remaining time. Within 5s, press the TIMER button again to
cancel this function.
Note:
• Range for the timer setting is: 0.5~24h
• The interval between two actions can't exceed 5s, otherwise the remote control
will exit setting status.
Introduction to button combination functions
Child lock function
Pressing the "+" and "-" buttons simultaneously can turn the child lock function on
or off. When the child lock function is activated, the LOCK indicator on the remote
control is ON. If you attempt to operate the remote control, it won't send a signal.
Temperature display switchover function
In OFF status, pressing the "-"and "MODE" buttons simultaneously can switch
between °C and °F.
Operation guide
1. After connecting the power, press the "ON/OFF" button on the remote control
to turn on the air conditioner.
2. Press the "MODE" button to select your required mode: AUTO, COOL, DRY, FAN,
HEAT.
3. Press the "+" or "-" button to select your required temperature (temperature
can't be adjusted in Auto mode).
4. Press the "FAN" button to set your required fan speed: auto, low, medium and
high.
5. Press the "SWING" button to select the fan blowing angle.
NOTICE
• During operation, point the remote control signal sender at the receiving
window on indoor unit.
• The distance between signal sender and the receiving window should be no
more than 8m, and there should be no obstacles between them.
• Signal may be susceptible to interference in a room where there is a fluorescent
light or wireless telephone; remote controller should be close to indoor unit
during operation.
• Replace batteries of the same type when replacement is required.
• If the remote control is not to be used for a long time, please remove the
batteries.
• If the display on remote control is fuzzy or there is no display, please replace the
batteries.

Emergency operation

If the remote control is lost or damaged, please use the auxiliary button to turn the
air conditioner on or off. The operation is detailed as below:

conditioner on or off. When the air conditioner is turned on, it will operate in auto
mode.

NOTICE: The operating temperature range (outdoor temperature) for cooling
is -15°C~ 43°C. The heating temperature range for models without an electric
chassis heating belt is -15°C~24°C. The heating temperature range for models
with an electric chassis heating belt is -20°C~24°C.

2.3. Maintenance

Replacement of batteries in remote control
1. Press the back side of the remote control on the spot marked " ", and then push
out the cover of battery compartment in the direction of the arrow.
2. Replace two No.7 (AAA 1.5V) dry batteries and make sure the positions of the +
and - polarities are correct.
3. Reinstall the cover of battery compartment.

Clean surface of indoor unit
When the surface of indoor unit is dirty, it is recommended that a soft dry cloth or
wet cloth is used to wipe it.
NOTICE: Do not remove the panel when cleaning it.
