AFP-25 Helmet mounted Arc Flash Faceshield – fitted onto an EVO

FIELD OF APPLICATION

• The AFP-25 Helmet Mounted Arc Flash Faceshield together with additional PPE appropriate for the afore determined level
of protection, protects the qualified user during live working or when staying in the vicinity of live parts.
• The AFP-25 Helmet Mounted Arc Flash Faceshield provides safety to eyes and face only if used as intended.
• Do not use the AFP-25 Helmet Mounted Arc Flash Faceshield for electric arc welding and do not use / store it close to arc
welding work.
• A proper risk assessment must be carried out by a qualified person prior to the work being carried out.

FITTING THE VISOR TO THE HELMET

Mount AFP-25 Helmet Mounted Arc Flash Faceshield only
to a JSP EVO Range of industrial safety helmet that is
®
approved for arc flash protection at the maximum expected
level. In case of any doubt, contact JSP Ltd.
Insert the adaptors of the shield into the accessory slots at
the sides of the helmet. There will be an audible click when
the adaptor is fully seated into the slot of the helmet.

POSITIONING THE VISOR ON THE HELMET
Position the helmet with the AFP-25 Helmet Mounted Arc Flash Faceshield on the
head and pull the shield into the deployed position, i.e. lowered position.
Position 1:
AFP-25 Helmet Mounted Arc Flash Faceshield
in raised position.
