Installation
Install the dipoles as shown in the figure 1 and screw them. Put the plastic covers by presing down. Now the antenna is ready for the insta-
llation.
If possible choose an installation place with no obstacles to the transmiter (fig. 2).
The antenna performs vertical and horizontal movements so we can reach its optimal ainning. The clamp allows vertical polarization (fig. 3).
Place the antenna on the mast with the clamp as shown in the figure 4 a. Secure the antenna with the bracket with a small play for the ain-
ning (fig. 4 b). Avoid cable brinks or bends less than the minimum radius quoted by the manufactures of the cable used (fig. 4 c)
Install the power supply unit in a place protected against heat, humidity, etc and ensure the minimum cable length between the antenna and
the PSU (fig. 5). Only use the required length of coaxial cable.
For connecting the power supply unit to the antenna, use the suplied "F" connector and for connecting it to the main voltage use the IEC
male connector (fig. 6).
The arrangement of the connectors in the PSU is as shown in the figure 7.
PLEASE NOTE:
• Check the proper operation at the moment of powering the unit.
- LED ON: Proper operation.
- LED´s OFF: Disconnet the mains voltage or battery and review the connectors installation. Make sure there is not a shortcircuit.
Follow the figure 8 indications.
Review the powering 220 or 240 Vac by mean of the included line plug or by mean of the battery jack (12 ... 24Vdc).
Important: Do not connect the antenna input voltage to an altern and direct voltage at the same time.
This antenna goes together with (fig. 9):
- 1.5 m male to male PSU-TV set connection lead.
- "F" connector for the antenna.
- 9,5 mm male IEC connector.
- Jack connector for the battery connection.
- T-100 coaxial cable.
- Self amalgamating tape.
The sealing of the connection is recomended for a proper operation and a longer lifeture of the device.
