2.1 Safety information on the accumulator charger
• Use only the rechargeable VIEGA
in the "Accessories" Section with the VIEGA accumulator charger.
Other types of accumulator may explode and cause injuries and damage
to property.
• Do not test the charger with conductive objects.
Shorting accumulator connectors may lead to sparking, burns or electric
shock.
• Do not insert an accumulator in the charger if the charger has been
damaged owing to dropping it or other reasons. A damaged charger
increases the risk of electric shock.
• The accumulators must be charged at temperatures between 5°C
and 35°C. Store charger and accumulators at temperatures between
20°C and 40°C. Careful care prevents damage to the accumulators. Es-
cape of electrolyte (battery fluid), electric shock and burns may occur if
accumulators are handled improperly.
