The wire which is coloured BROWN must be
connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter L or coloured red.
The wire which is coloured GREEN/YELLOW
must be connected to the terminal which is
marked with the letter E or (
coloured GREEN or GREEN/YELLOW.
If a 13Amp (BS1363) plug is used, a 13Amp
(BS1362) fuse must be fitted, or if any other
type of plug is used, a 13Amp fuse must be
fitted, either in the plug or adaptor, or on the
distribution board.
Warning! This appliance must be earthed.

Your 102220 Princess Table Chef has been
designed for the following applications:
- frying or grilling food without using fat;
- teppanyaki cooking, frying, and barbecues.
The appliance is equipped with a grill plate
with a non-stick coating. The appliance is
suitable for indoor use only.

Initial use
Preparation
•
Clean the grill plate with a damp cloth.
Use
Switching on and off (fig. A)
•
Insert the connector (1) into the connector
socket (3).
•
Insert the mains plug into the wall socket.
The power indicator (2) comes on.
•
Wait for approximately 10 minutes until the
grill plate (4) has reached the required
temperature.
•
To switch off the appliance, remove the
mains plug from the wall socket. The power
indicator (2) goes off.
•
Remove the connector (1) from the
connector socket (3).
Hints for optimum use
•
Prepare the ingredients.
•
Clean the grill plate with a damp cloth or a

paper towel while the grill plate is lukewarm.
•
Place the appliance on a stable and flat
surface.
•
Insert the connector into the connector
socket.
•
Insert the mains plug into the wall socket.
•
Wait for approximately 10 minutes until the
grill plate has reached the required
temperature.

Note: Small pieces will grill or fry better and
more quickly than large pieces.
•
Experiment with the required cooking time
to achieve the best results.
Defrosting
Caution!
Do not use the heating elements of the
appliance for defrosting food. If you use the
heating elements for defrosting food, the food
is slowly cooked instead of merely defrosted.
In order to defrost food, put the food on the
grill plate. Make sure that the mains plug is not
inserted into the wall socket.
Defrosting food on the grill plate is considerably
faster than defrosting food on, for example,
a ceramic or plastic dish.
Cleaning and maintenance
Warning!

Before cleaning or maintenance, remove
the mains plug from the wall socket and
wait until the appliance has cooled down.
•
Do not immerse the appliance in water or
any other liquids for cleaning.
•
Do not immerse the connector in water or
other liquids.
Caution!
•
Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning
agents to clean the appliance.
•
Do not use sharp objects to clean the
appliance.
