7 Mounting the Cutting Attachment
Mounting the Mowing Head
► Fit the thrust plate
► Turn the mowing head anticlockwise on the
shaft (2) as far as it will go
► Retaining the Shaft
► Tighten the mowing head
NOTICE
Remove the tool that was used to block the
shaft.
7.9 Removing the Mowing Head
► Retaining the Shaft
► Turn the mowing head clockwise
7.10 Mounting and removing the
metal cutting attachment
Keep the information sheet and packaging for
the metal cutting attachment in a safe place.
WARNING
Put on protective gloves – risk of injury by the
sharp cutting edges
Always fit only one metal cutting attachment!

7.11 Brush knives
7.11.1 Position cutting attachment
The cutting edges of the brush knife with 2 or 3
blades can face in any direction. Turn the cutting
attachments over regularly to avoid wearing one
side.
7.11.2 Mounting the cutting attachment
► Attach guard ring for mowing applications

Collar (a) must engage the hole (b) in the cutting
attachment!
7.11.3 Securing the cutting attachment
► Fit the thrust washer (2) – curvature faces
upward
► Fit rider plate (3) for mowing applications
