Controlling the volume
Using the monitor's speakers or headphones, you can listen to
sound from your computer or other audio equipment connected to
the monitor's audio input jacks.
You can control the volume by using a separate "Volume" menu
from the main menu.
1 Press the m/M buttons when no menu appears on
the screen.

2 Press the m/M buttons to control the volume.
The menu automatically disappears after about 5 seconds.
Notes
• You cannot adjust the volume when the main menu is displayed on the
screen.
• When your monitor is in power saving mode, no sound comes from the
speakers or the headphones.

Power saving function
This monitor meets the power-saving guidelines set by VESA,

TAR, and NUTEK. If the monitor is connected to a
computer or video graphics board that is DPMS (Display Power
Management Signaling) compliant, the monitor will
automatically reduce power consumption as shown below.

When your computer enters the "active off" mode, the input signal is
cut and "NO INPUT SIGNAL" appears on the screen. After 5
seconds, the monitor enters the power saving mode.
"Deep sleep" is a power saving mode defined by the Environmental
Protection Agency.
** The maximum power consumption is 1.0 W in 100-120 V AC
areas.
