Menu Diagnosis
(not available with all control units)
The menus depend on which control unit and system is
installed.
Function test
CAUTION
Risk of scalding if tank temperature limiter is deactivated
during the function check!
▶ Close DHW draw-off points.
▶ Inform occupants of the premises of the risk of scalding.
If a solar module is installed, the Function test or Solar menu
is displayed in the DHW menu.
With the help of this menu, pumps, mixers and valves in this
system can be tested. They are tested by setting various setting
values. You can check whether the mixer, pump or valve
responds appropriately by observing the behaviour of the
corresponding component.
Pumps, e.g. solar pump:
Adjustment range: Off or Min. speed solar pump ... 100 %
•
Off: the pump is not running and is switched off.
•
Min. speed solar pump, e.g. 40 %: the pump runs at 40 %
of the maximum speed.
•
100 %: the pump runs at maximum speed.
Monitored values
If a solar module is installed, the Solar or DHW menu is
displayed in the Monitor values menu.
This menu allows you to call up information on the current
status of the system. For example, whether the maximum
cylinder temperature or the maximum collector temperature
has been reached can be displayed here.
Further, important information can also be displayed in
addition to the temperatures. For example, the Solar pump
menu item under the Pump therm. disinfect. or Status menu
items shows the status of the component relevant to the
function.

The information and values that are provided depend on the
system that has been installed. Observe the technical
documentation for the heat source, control unit, additional
modules and other system components.
