Assembly - Standard Ceiling Mount

Preparing for standard mounting
□
Remove the canopy ring (EE) by turning the ring counter-
clockwise until it unlocks.
□
Remove the mounting bracket (A) from the canopy (C) by
loosening the two canopy screws (II) located in the "L shaped"
slots.
□
Remove and save the two canopy screws (HH) in the round
holes. This will enable you to remove the mounting bracket (A).

Assembling the fan
CAUTION: To ensure wobble-free operation and to avoid
damage to the fan, the downrod (B) and the setscrew (GG)
must be completely tightened.
NOTE: This fan is equipped with a safety tab (JJ). Should the
setscrew (GG) ever become loose while the fan is running
in reverse, the safety tab (JJ) will engage and stop the fan
from falling.

Loosen, but do not remove, the set screws (GG) on the collar on
top of the fan-motor assembly (E).
□
Install the downrod (B) by inserting it into the motor collar (FF),
and turning it clockwise until it is tight.
□
Re-tighten the set screws (GG) on the collar on top of the fan-
motor assembly (E).

Routing the wires
□
Route the wires exiting the top of the fan motor assembly (E)
through the decorative motor collar cover (D) and then the
canopy trim ring (EE).
□
Make sure the opening of the canopy (C) is on top and insert
the ball/downrod (B) through the canopy (C).
□
Route the wires exiting the top of the fan motor assembly (E)
through the downrod (B) as shown.
