The basket allows you to stew soft foods, like pasta or noodles, and cook side dishes, like rice
or potatoes. You can also use it to strain food.
To use the basket as a strainer, follow these steps:

After grinding, cooking or preparing a sauce, insert the basket into the jar.

To prevent the jar from moving, place the spatula in the basket gap to assemble it, as
shown in Fig. 20.
Steamer

The steamer includes 3 parts: a small steamer, a big one and the cover.
Place the ingredients to be cooked in the steamer, place the cover and assemble the steamer
correctly in the jar.
Make sure you assemble it and remove the measuring cup if necessary.
Warning

Do not touch or get close to the steamer to avoid burns.

Do not cover the steamer's gaps with any cloth or object. Steam may come out from the
edge or other parts causing risk of burns.

Allow steam to be released through the cover's middle gap and sides; this way, steam
circulation will be improved, allowing a more even cooking of foods.
3. BEFORE USE

Take the product out of the box and remove all packaging materials.

Make sure the product is in good conditions and it has all the accessories. If any sign
of visible damage is observed, contact immediately with the official Technical Support
Service of Cecotec.

Place the appliance on a clean, stable and flat surface. Do not place it close to the edge,
inside built-in wardrobes or hanging brackets.

Clean the appliance before using it for the first time.

Connect it to a power supply and press the power switch to turn it on. The machine will
beep and the display will turn on.
Note
The product will produce a light smell when it is used for the first time and will disappear after
a few minutes. This is due to the manufacturing remains and does not affect to its operating.
