1. Safety Information

General Information

This device has been constructed and tested in accord with DIN
EN 60950-1 VDE 0805-1 "Equipment for Information Technology
Safety". It has left our plant in good condition with respect to
safety technology. In order to maintain this condition and to
ensure safe operations, the user must observe the following
information and warnings.
Transportation
This device should only be transported in its original packing (as
protection from shock and impact). If the device is brought from a
cooler environment into the operating location, dewfall may occur.
The device must be absolutely dry before beginning operations.
Therefore, an acclimatization period of at least two hours is
required.
Setting Up
The device described herein should only be operated by personnel
who are professionally trained in electro-technology.
The device should be protected from direct sunlight and heat.
The device may only be operated or charged using a suitable
electrical supply adapter (12 V, 1 A Direct Current, External minus
pole).
Battery Renewal: Only nickel metal hydride (Ni-MH) batteries may
be used that are mignon (AA) 1.2 V in size and have at least
2000 mAh! When inserting batteries, the polarity symbols must be
observed that are located in the inside of the battery compartment.
