Remove the three mounting screws from the
switch housing plate. Retain all screws for future use.
Position the switch housing assembly on the switch
housing plate. Align the holes in the switch housing
assembly with the holes in the switch housing plate.
Secure the switch housing assembly by reinstalling the
previously removed screws (Figure 7).
WARNING
!
To avoid possible fire or shock, do not pinch wires
between the switch housing assembly and the bracket
switch housing assembly.

Carefully turn partially assembled fan right side up and
place in styrofoam from carton, in preparation for final
installation.
Remove the hanger ball by loosening the Phillips head
setscrew in the hanger ball until the ball falls freely down
the 4.5" downrod (Figure 8).
Remove the pin from the 4.5" downrod, then remove the
hanger ball (Figure 8).
Retain the pin and hanger ball for reinstallation in
Step 3.14.

Separate, untwist and unkink the three 80" motor leads.
Route the three motor leads through the 4.5" downrod
(Figure 9).
