Forgot your password?

If you forget your password for this product, follow the procedure below to reset the
unit back to the factory default settings.
Notes: A Windows computer is required to reset this drive. The Secure Lock Manager

Connect this unit to your Windows PC.
If the password verification screen is displayed, close it.
The autoplay screen may be displayed if you are using Windows 7/Vista. If so, close it.

Click [Start] - [(All) Programs] - [BUFFALO] - [Secure Lock Manager Easy] - [Secure Lock
Manager Easy].
Secure Lock Manager Easy will launch.

Easy software does not support Mac OS.
This process will erase all data on the drive!
After resetting to factory defaults, the drive will be formatted in FAT32, which
does not support files larger than 4 GB. If you want to be able to save files
larger than 4 GB, reformat with NTFS or Mac OS extended.
