The car seat harness must be set to the size of your child. The harness has two shoulder straps
with harness pads and one crotch strap with the harness buckle. The shoulder straps can fit into
any one of three sets of slots in the seat back and they must be passed through the slots over your
child's shoulders. If your child's shoulders are between two pairs of slots, always use the lower
slots. The harness will form a 'Y' configuration.
To adjust the height, first remove the shoulder straps from the slots in the shell and cover (10)
(11) (12).
Refit the shoulder straps in the required set of slots and ensure the same slots align in both the
shell and the cover.
Loosen the harness: Press on the adjuster button positioned between the crotch strap and the
front of the car seat, and pull on the two shoulder straps simultaneously (13).
Tighten the harness: Pull firmly on the adjustment strap at the front of the car seat; it is not
necessary to press on the adjuster lock (14).
IMPORTANT! Your child seat is equipped with an infant insert for use when your child is new born.
Remove the infant insert when your child has outgrown use of the lowest set of should strap slots.
Open the harness buckle by pressing firmly on the red button in the centre of the buckle (15).
Position your child in the car seat, ensuring that they rest correctly against the back of the car seat.
Bring together the connectors on the ends of the shoulder straps, align them together
and insert into the buckle until you hear a click (16).
Pull firmly on the harness adjustment strap until shoulder straps are tensioned correctly
against your child (14).
Check the harness for any twists or slack and repeat until the harness is a snug fit. You must
not be able to pass more than the thickness of a finger between the harness and the child's chest.
A correctly adjusted harness actively contributes to the best possible protection of your child.
