QUICK GUIDE
This method allows multiplexing of multiple protocols over a single ATM virtual
circuit. The protocol of a carried Protocol Data Unit (PDU) is identified by prefixing
the PDU by a Logical Link Control (LLC) header.
Choose No, to route the packets according to the VC in use. This second method
does higher-layer protocol multiplexing implicitly by ATM Virtual Circuits (VCs). It
is called "VC Based Multiplexing".
Start the test.
The display shows the Test Status (running or not) and the ADSL link status.
The LED STATUS is OFF if no test running, is ON (solid green)
during regular test running.
The LED LINK is OFF if the physical connection is not active, is
ON (solid yellow) during the connection phase, is ON (solid green)
when the connection is active, is ON (solid red) when an error
occurs.
The test results displayed are the following:
The Status line indicates the status of the test; and the PING line indicates the
status of the Ping, eg. Idle, Waiting for reply or Pause.
PPP link state and response messages (once the link is active,
the PPP item changes in PING)
Date, time and elapsed time
Msg, ICPM (Echo) state and response time or messages
