Mounting the drive pinion and spacer
rings, Figs. 4 to 6
Information:
Spacer rings are only to be mounted with
types 1650 K and 1650 G
1. Push the spacer ring (4-2) onto the bearing
bush of the frame.
2. Swivel the lower half of the drum with the
gear rim upwards.
3. Place the drive pinion (4-1) onto the gear rim
and push it, together with the drum half, onto
the journal of the bearing bush.
4. Raise the lower drum half on the opposite
side and push on the second spacer ring
(5-1).
5. Pin the drive pinion to the drive shaft using
the dowel pin (Fig. 6)
Mounting the upper drum half

1. Remove the fastening bolts of the gear rim
from the lower drum half.
2. Apply silicone around the circumference of
the lower drum (Fig. 7)
3. Mount the upper drum half in such a way that
the fastening bolts for the mixer blades are
offset by 70 mm, as shown.
4. Bolt the drum halves together.
Mounting the retention plate

1. Push on the retention plate and fasten it with
the hexagon bolt and lock nut.
Attaching the hand wheel

1. Push in the spiral spring with the short end
first, as shown in Fig. 10, until the center of
the spiral spring is aligned with the hole in
the drum axle.
2. Hold the hand wheel at a slight angle and
push it onto the drum axle in a downward di-
rection (Fig. 11).
3. Fasten the hand wheel with the hexagon bolt
and lock nut, ensuring that the hexagon bolt
passes through the center of the spiral spring
(Fig. 12).
4. Check the swivelling and locking function of
the hand wheel.

Information:
When released, the hand wheel must
lock into position in the retention plate.

1. Unscrew the lock nuts on the inside of the
drum, mount the mixer blade on the round-
head bolts and fasten with the lock nuts.
Mounting the gear rim guard

1. Mount the two halves of the gear rim guard
(Fig. 14) and fasten each half with two Phil-
lips screws and two hexagon nuts (Fig. 15).
Mounting the motor

1. Turn the drum until the driver pin (16-1) in
the drive shaft is aligned vertically.
2. Use a screwdriver to turn the pin receptacle
(16-2) in the motor housing until it is vertical.
3. Push the motor housing onto the drive shaft
of the drive pinion and press it downwards.
4. Fasten the motor housing with three hexa-
gon bolts and lock nuts.
Operation

The concrete mixer must not be oper-
ated if any parts (e.g. guards) are miss-
ing or defective or if the connection cable
is damaged.
Operating the concrete mixer
1. Place the concrete mixer horizontally on
level, solid ground.
Do not place the concrete mixer on the con-
nection cable!
Information:
The drum must be able to swivel to the
right and left. Ensure that there is space
under the drum for emptying the con-
tents into a wheelbarrow.
2. Lay the connection cable in such a way that
it cannot be kinked, crushed or damaged in
any other way.
